BELLINZONA GOLD, 16hh 5 years old, is one of a handful Shagya horses in the US with training in dressage. With "3 good gaits!" (quote from dressage judge) and the size and temperament to compete with warmbloods, she is looking for someone that can continue her training and enjoy shows together. Bellinzona is quite a personality and is a one-person-horse. She is strongly built and still elegant and refined. She likes attention, and likes going to shows and experiencing new places. One of only 100 or so pure-bred Shagyas in the US, Bellinzona has been officially inspected and received high scores, including 8-8-8 for gaits. Positive attitude and will come neighing to the door when called to go out for training, willing and forward but not excessively sensitive, no need for spurs or whip, good learner. Safe to ride on trails at at new places. Healthy, no history of injuries or issues. Strong hooves, never needed shoes. After show career, could become a valuable brood mare that can be accepted into the Hanoverian, Oldenburg or Trakehner stud books after their inspection and approval, based on her first-class European Shagya bloodlines.
