16.1hh rising 7yo Russian WB gelding. Imported from Germany 2006. Competed Young Horse dressage classes and been produced slowly and meticulously since being in the UK. Ivan really is one in a million. He has a temperament second to none, is very level headed and always gives everything he has when being ridden. Very easy to handle with excellent stable manners.
He loves work, and is happy with whatever job he is asked to do. He is schooling very well on the flat and has 3 very sound expressive paces – he scores 8 for his paces! Just started working in a double bridle , although is very happy to work in a snaffle. Hacks out alone or in company, and he loves to hack. Just started jumping and he shows a very scopey athletic jump with a very good technique – although he is still quite green jumping (but he never says no!!)
Has 36 British Dressage points with very nice comments from the judges. He is working Elementary at home and competing Novice although is almost ready to move up a level. He hs the trainability and the paces to go past Advanced level. This is a heartbreaking sale of a much loved horse. I searched for a very very long time to find a horse that made me feel safe, yet was forward going and would stand out from the crowd. I brought him primarily for dressage because his paces are outstanding, but to be honest he would event or showjump. Seen with a friend in Dorset because I cannot bear to sell him myself.
Recent 5 stage vetting. Please only buyers who can offer him a long term loving home. We have video available that can be sent by email and lots and lots of photographs that can be sent by email. Very suited to the junior/amateur rider (perfect family horse or mother/daughter) or the more serious competitive rider. |
