We are very excited to offer our imported Czech stallion, Sagar. He is the first fully papered Perlino Warmblood stallion to stand at stud worldwide! He is tall, correct, elegant and has outstanding movement and jumping ability. He has tremendous natural scope and is exceptionally quiet and laid back.
Sagar was been presented to RPSI and is SBII with wonderful comments from the inspection committee judges such as, "excellent canter...", "tremendous jumping potential...", "quiet, trainable temperament...", "correct conformation..." and ..."good character...". If you are looking for a fire breathing stallion to breed to, than Sagar may not be your man, as his gentle, quiet demeanor is really who he is! Although the judge at inspection did say he lacked "fire", his athleticism and rideability more than make up for that!
He is a gentle natured stallion, friendly and kind. He is very people oriented, soft spoken and generally mistaken for a gelding! When it is time for him to "act the part" of a stallion, he always rises to the occasion, however once breeding business is done, he goes right back to being an easy going, good citizen.
True to his Czech breeding, Sagar is 100% sound, has EXCELLENT feet and bone, and is built to perform while still maintaining his "user friendly"/"member of the family" temperament.
So far, his foals have seemed to inherit his good nature, willingness and athleticism. Many of his foals get similar comments at inspection time, such as; good quality modern type, good use of hind end and freedom thru the shoulder, nice toplines, long necks and correct overall. Several of his foals can be seen on our website.
Sagar goes back to the legendary stallion, Landgraf, from whom he has inherited his wonderful, natural jumping ability.
If you like GOLD, look no further, as he is guaranteed to produce palominos and buckskins when bred to non gray mares. (gray mares can pass on their gray gene) Sagar is EVA negative and vaccinated annually.
His regular stud fee is just $1000 plus $150 booking fee, and all breedings come with a LFG. Multi mare, Early Bird, performance mare and repeat breeder discounts available and can be combined for even more savings!
