Darcy is a gorgeous true black (DNA color tested)purebred yearling *GELDING* who is by the RID stallion Bridon Belfrey (Snowford Bellman x Flagmount Belle) and is out of our imported RID mare Hawklands Silver Rose (Hawklands Silver Prince x Hawklands Blue Heather).
This Gelding has all the qualities of making a outstanding competition prospect with his bloodlines, correct conformation and excellent movement. Darcy is built very nicely uphill with a good length of rein, nice sloping shoulders, good bone and a pretty head.
He is a very athletic Gelding who would do very well at jumping, eventing or in the dressage ring.
This Gelding is very flashy with a nice amount of white on his face and one low white sock. Will mature around 17hh, be medium build with good bone and substance with plenty of quality. Handled twice a day, loads, travels, good for farrier etc.
Bloodlines include Silver Jasper, Roma Blue Wind, Blue Henry, Flagmount King, Slyguff Hero, Snowford Bellman, Timahoe Heather etc.
Darcy is a half brother to Touch Wood who has been sold as a stallion prospect.
Touch Wood came 2nd in the dressage suitability class and 2nd in the purebred colt class at the 2007 ID show at Lamp Light at the tender age of just 2 1/2 months!!
Darcy is a gorgeous looking Irish Horse who will make somebody very proud.
Darcy is handled twice daily, Is good for the farrier, vet, will walk/trot in hand, loads well and trailers well.
