Your chance to breed out of a First Class OLDB ( out of Furioso II) mare and produce a champion with poise , grace and a powerful engine good for dressage or jumping yet as a young stallion , my colt out of this mare is still easy to handle by this amateur. Breed your dream sport horse NOW . For her first foal she was bred in September. Video available now of her 2 y.o Champion colt free jumping- I am told he has perfect hunter movement but to me when I see him freely perform dressage movements in the field it takes my breath away. Jewel is a beautiful Oldenburg NA/ ISR approved mare,in the main book. Her first foal was a breeze- AI took first time (saves LOADS of vet bills) , foals easy, easy keeper. Lease my Oldenburg broodmare with Furioso II Grandsire with Polish Arab on the dam's side. This mare has an especially beautiful head (scored a 9), fabulous forward movement that her sire, First Class ,was known for (mares out of him are highly sought after for throwing his traits)and carries the breathtaking shinny copper/bronze gene (probably goes back to some Akhal Teke we think must be in the Polish Arab) both which she has passed on to her colt. I anticipate that if bred to a paint she will throw loud color - her colt has 4 white knee socks and lovely white face. Her 1st foal is the 2011 East coast USEA FEH Champion yearling colt and is being considered as a stallion prospect.......you just can't ask for more. Jewel is 15.2 hh but this mare carries like a 16.2 hh, her movement has so much presence (even the judges don't believe me when they ask her height), the first horse I have earned 9s with at the walk. At inspections she was maiden but still scored highest out of the 13 mares up for inspection all of the others had foals at foot and apparently it is harder for a mare to be approved without proven offspring. Jewel was retired early due to injury and was already off at the time of inspections and narrowly missed getting Premium status by 3 points- I was pretty clueless back then about the whole thing. The German Breeding director who is also an FEI judge and vet ,said she could be bred to any stallion and produce a fantastic sport horse. He was right . We bred her in 2009 to newly imported Hanoverian ,Dacaprio (16 hh) standing in KY. The stallion owner gave us a discount because she loved the mare. Jewel was a Premium foal herself. Handled daily, UTD with everything. Latest health check March 4th ,2013.
She has passed on her solid bone and Arab hardiness too.
Jewel's 1st dressage scores when I got her were in the 70s after having been out of work for 3 years with her previous owner- something I have never had at a first outing, she took to jumping like a duck to water and has the stamina for cross country ,unfortunately an old injury forced her to become a broodmare earlier than anticipated. Photos include pictures of her colt. Jewel is in heat and open to BREED NOW. She is a super mum. Free lease considered with certain conditions. She can be boarded with you while in foal under certain approved circumstances.
Her colt has breathtaking movement and he already jumped 4' at 6 months. He happily jumps obstacles in his path rather than go around. I have never handled a stallion before but I am easy with him in his stall he does not have mean bone in his body, has never raised a hoof to strike or any of those things I have seen other young colts do.
Jewel is my foundation mare but we are a military family and since I am currently still keeping the colt and we are still moving with the military I am unable to breed with her again for a while and it is a shame for such a fabulous mare to stand idle.
