MARE: Oldenburg Verband Registered! Luminous –a.k.a. “Laila” is an outstanding 2004 bay and white with black tobiano pinto mare by Maxamillion out of our approved mare, Lady Marglo—from the Main Mare Book for Hanoverian and Oldenburg. This stunning filly scored an extraordinary score of 9.0 for movement at her Verband Keuring inspection with an overall score of 8.5. She has three exceptional gaits—a breathtaking trot, a beautiful canter, and her sire's incredible walk. She also has excellent conformation and great markings. She is a quality prospect for FEI-level dressage or, as we have done, a valuable addition to any dressage breeding program. Some of the judge's comments on this one-of-a-kind filly were: FOR CONFORMATION: “well-developed,” “nice neck set,” “refined and modern”; FOR MOVEMENT: WALK, “a really good walk;” CANTER: “up from the ground with good overreach;” and for TROT: “up from the ground,” “enormous swing, elasticity and overreach.” In general, the judge called her movement “really outstanding. ” Laila has exceptional bloodlines with from her sire, Maxamillion whose ancestry includes Argus - The only horse in the world that was simultaneously successful in both Grand Prix jumping and international dressage competitions. As of 2003, Argus has produced the second highest number of 1st premium offspring in North America of all approved stallions. Maxamillion is registered: AWS, 1/2 ASHA, and IRC. "Max" possesses a top Dutch Warmblood pedigree, carrying 26.56% rare Gelderlander blood, and including Grand Prix dressage and jumping stallions such as: Argus, Pion, Patrick, Highlight, and Vulcaan.
This lovely girl was bred by the owner and imprinted from birth. Born in 2004 at the famous breeding facility Highlife Farm in Orlando she was moved in her first year to hundreds of acres in Missouri. She has a friendly, affectionate temperament. She has 60 days under saddle and ground instruction. Her first foal was born in 2011 and is on the premised for sale as well. Laia is an outstanding broodmare prospect to carry the Verband pedigree. 4 YR OLD GELDING, Sire of “WASSILY” WATCH ME SHINE. This lovely 2007 boy was not gelded until he was 3 so his gorgeous stallion like head is his magnificent attribute—plus he has blue eyes. He is the best horse I have ever had in terms of sweetness and ground manners. I raised him from 6 months. His AQHA pedigree goes back to 1934 out of champions Pepsi Poco and Poco Streke. He has only had 10 days training but I have ridden him with no problems. He is green but calm. You can train your way. He is the one that will bring me to tears when he goes.
