Mambo's bloodlines are about as exceptional as they get. Sired by "Master" one of Sweden's best Olympic dressage stallions ridden by Kyra Kyrklund and out of the mare Drusilla from International Event Competitor Lars Christensson's International Competition mare Drusilla.

Drusilla won the Regional Quality Competition in Sweden and was Second best Show Jumping horse in the same show. She also won the Swedish Championships in three day eventing in 1988 and in the CCI*** in Punchestown, Ireland, she was placed Second.

Drusilla was one of the best 3 year old mares in Sweden in the testing and was placed 3rd in the National Finals achieving 42 points out of 50 for conformation. She is a Diploma mare.

Mambo King competed the 4 year old finals in National Eventing Championship in Sweden before being imported to the USA at age 5. He has since gone on to be ridden in multiple clinics and trained by various interns from the Flyinge School in Sweden while at Normandy Manor Farm. He excels in dressage (has been trained to third level), eventing or hunters - name your discipline - he is equally suited for all.

Mambo LOVES to jump, is very smart, gives all to the rider but has a cool mind and very comfortable gaits. He has inherited his rhythmic and consistent trot from his sire, Master as well as his nice temperament.

While we cannot say Mambo is a "packer" for a young rider or adult amateur, he would be fine for a young rider or amateur who has had some good quality training background and is under the guidance of a quality trainer. He is light in the mouth and quick to the leg aides. He is a very responsive horse in a nice way working with the rider. He responds equally well to both male and female riders and can take a tall rider with longer legs.

While we do break and train young horses at our farm, we are not heavily involved in actively competing horses on the circuit.

Thus - Mambo is being offered for sale so that he can get back out into the world and show off his good looks, quality breeding and training.

If you have been searching for that special horse - don't delay!
