Rondezvous is a stunning 1997 16.1hh grey registered and branded Canadian Hanoverian Gelding.
He was sired by Ramiro’s Bube x Ramiro Z and out of Wentessa x Wenzel I.
Rondezvous is a very versatile gelding schools 1st level dressage and training 2nd level dressage.
Has been jumped 3'6.
Recently competed in a show and placed top 3 in all of his classes.
1st in Road Hack Class, 1st in Hunter Under Saddle, Reserve Champion Hack Division, Reserve Champion, Open Hunter 2'6 Class. 2nd and 3rd in his other classes with a rider who has ridden him 4 times and had never jumped a course with him.
He easily goes into a hunter frame and is comfortable in a double bridle.
He has a lofty trot, phenomenal extended trot and a gorgeous rocking horse canter. He also leg yields, shoulder-in, shorten & lengthens all gaits, walk, trot, canter, counter-canter easily, hand gallops and comes back easily....
He is very willing under saddle, easily goes into hunter frame, can be ridden without crop and spurs and is quick to do as he is asked. Not overly forward but not slow, he has an excellent halt whether ridden in a riding ring or out in open areas.
He is a clean and careful jumper over fences and very honest and willing. He is a very round jumper who goes right to the base of the fence and takes his time.
Rondezvous also can be taken out on hacks. He is not spooky and has never offered to buck, bolt or rear. He has been in a parade and was very well behaved.
We have ridden him bareback and had a nervous advanced beginner rider on him who quickly became confident riding him as he did everything he was asked and did not react at all to a few wrong cues or bouncing in the saddle.
Rondezvous is healthy and sound. He requires no special care and can be kept with mares and geldings. He is barefoot and can live in or out.
Rondo would be an excellent horse for a teenager or adult who would like to further their riding skills with a horse that can also take them on hacks one day and to a show the next.
He had one owner for 14 years where he was trained dressage and shown locally by a teenager. His current owner rides western and is not interested in pursuing English riding. Rondezvous has spent the last several months with a dressage coach where he was used for dressage lessons with Intermediate students on occasion.
We feel he would be a great horse for hunter/jumper classes and he has proven that he is capable.
Rondo is looking for a great home with one owner.
