2005 Red Bay Pinto mare by Pelladio (Caletto I) out of TB/Dutch mare by hunter sire Waterway Drive. This beautifully moving mare scored GOLD Premium (8.1) at her foal inspection with RPSI, and is lifetime registered with USEF.
This mare has frequent and easy heats, a gentle and kind temperment,and will make an excellent broodmare. She is not sold as under-saddle due to an early diagnosis of moderately weak front suspensory tendons, a condition that none of her siblings or alternate offspring from Pelladio have. Pastel's full sister has had multiple quality foals for Crestline Farms, none of which have any tendon issues.
Although Pastel is sound under saddle at all gaits, we realize that further extensive training would be detrimental to her condition, and feel that she would be content and successful as a quality broodmare.
