Fiona AF is a beautiful gray, 16.3 h, 2004 registered American Warmblood mare. She is by the American Warmblood stallion Glacier Bay. Glacier Bay's sire, the KWPN stallion Volckmar,is a leading sire of FEI horses in jumping and dressage. Fiona's dam is a registered American Trakehner Association mare. Fiona has a good confirmation and three solid gaits, with an exceptional walk. Fiona has been ridden English and Western, but started a career as a jumper before her current owner bought her in 2010, and started showing her successfully in lower level dressage. Her amateur owner has shown her at *** shows with Training Level scores at 69%, and Intro Level scores last year in the low 70's. (She is ready to show First Level and has had training at Second Level.) She is back in professional Hunter/Jumper training and her price will increase with that training. She is jumping 3' easy. She is forward, adjustable, scopey, straight, knows how to rate the jumps, uses her whole body, and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to jump. She has an affinity for Hunters but is competative at Jumping too. Fiona has also been shown at the local fair shows, playdays and ridden on trails. No matter the show format she is always in the ribbons/prizes. She is easy to ride and sit (even bareback,) does not spook or buck, very sweet, uncomplicated, forgiving and people oriented. Fiona has superb gound manners, bathes, clips and trailers great. The vet and farrier love her. She is up to date on her vaccines and dental work; she is an easy keeper and not mare-ish. Fiona has her Lifetime USDF HID Registration Number.
