Campiola is a 16.2 hand 18 year old Holsteiner mare. She was purchased from Laura Kraut in 2004 and has had countless wins in the show jumping ring all over western Canada. Before her retirement, she competed at the 1.45m Grand Prix level at venues including Spruce Meadows, Thunderbird Show Park and the Richmond, BC Twin Oaks Derby. She also qualified for 1.30m 'Final Four' during the Spruce Meadows Skyliner Tournament and competed in the International FEI speed division at the Spruce Meadows Masters.
Because of Campiola's unmatched success in the show ring, we have chosen to include her sire, Campione, strongly into our breeding program. He is a Holsteiner stallion known for producing an excellent, modern type and great jumping ability.
Campiola has been accepted into the Main Mare Book Premium of the American Holsteiner Studbooks. She received a total of 48 bonit scores was awarded site champion mare in Calgary.
Campiola is no longer sound for steady riding, but is very happy to do occasional trail riding and also does well with young riders. We have bred her for four years and she does not want to carry a foal. She was confirmed in foal at 16 days in 2012, but would recommend breeding with regumate or embryo transfer.
