Fancy Young Hunter Prospect 17.1hh (Mature 17.3) Branded Grey Oldenburg Mare. Broke, ready to start program.
Landcome is a 17.1hh+ grey, premium branded Oldenburg mare, phenomenal bloodlines, by major hunter stallion and out of my longtime hunter mare. Extremely quiet, sensible, easy to work around. Hack winning trot, incredibly comfortable, and quiet undersaddle. Still very green but ready to get into a program and start her career. Turns 3 on July 29th. Huge stride with the scope/talent needed for the big stuff. A' circuit A/O, Performance Hunter, Derby type candidate. Loads/hauls like pro, no vices, totally sound and passes vet. Had full work-up done this year and passed with flying colors. Will mature 17.3hh (will be in an 86'' blanket), but very elegant girl. Long list of Olympic dressage/grand prix jumpers in bloodlines. Whispering Willow Farms has been specializing in Oldenburg & Hanoverian breeding for hunters, jumpers, and dressage for over twenty years. We strive to produce quality sport horses, trained correctly and slowly to ensure a sound and long-term competitor in any discipline. We pair our mares and stallions based on temperament, athleticism, and proof of offspring to match. If we get a great match, it is not uncommon for us to breed multiple times to the same stallion. We consist of a mother-daughter team, and have grown up training, raising, and showing our own horses. We focus on creating horses that can be ridden consistently by an amateur or professional, ensuring the lifelong companion we all wish to have. Our foals are raised as a part of our family,and stay that way until they move onto their future careers. |
