This girl is maturing beautifully- don't miss out! This is one I won't mind keeping for myself so I may take her off the market at some point.
Inspection results: German judge (also vet, breeder, and author of a conformation book) Christian Schacht says, "beautiful head, long neck, INCREDIBLE shoulder, trot is supple and comes from behind with enough extension in front" Wow! She was also very well behaved for braiding, bathing, walking around the ring, trailering, etc. Her dam, Vegas, was named a Premium Mare the same day with a VERY impressive score of 109 points!
This filly has the pedigree, conformation, MOVEMENT, and personality to succeed! Her sire has been one of the most consistent producers of quality in the history of the ISR/Oldenburg Registry. Ideal also sired the highest scoring Premium Mare EVER inspected by the ISR/Old (117 points!) Incandescent's damsire (Vivaldi) was an FEI dressage horse and his sire, Napoleon, was known as The Stallion Maker since so many of his 900 offspring became licensed stallions!
All of my foals have had nice trots but I have never had one that cantered like this girl!!! She is truly an athlete- naturally balanced and uphill, HUGE stride, and just a pleasure to watch from Day One.
The pictures don't do her justice- this is a REALLY nice filly! Deci has the potential to win in the dressage arena or the jumping or eventing courses. There are very few horses that can truly compete at the upper levels of both dressage and jumping, but I have every reason to believe she is one of them. Eventers take note- she is 64% xx/ox, so she carries a lot of "blood" despite her sturdy build.
She is currently bay but is slowly turning a lovely dark grey. She should stay dark a long time! She knows how to lead nicely, tie patiently, and pick up her feet for the farrier. She has been trailered a few times and did great. She loves to be brushed or just scratched. Bathing and clipping are no problem either.
Although her sire is 16.2 and her dam is 16.1, it appears that this girl is going to be TALL. She was 15 hands on her first birthday, which indicates she will likely be about 17 hands at maturity!
