Mia is being offered for sale by Cumberland Riding Academy, the premier hunter/jumper barn of Northern Nashville. Mia is a very fancy large pony hunter looking for a show home, extremely safe, very versatile, has the step to do the Large Pony Hunter Division as well as the Childrens but so quiet that has been showed by a 6 year old girl in walk trot poles. Although she is trained as a hunter this girl has the scope, speed and endurance to do jumpers as well as eventing. She is almost 14.1 1/2 hands, big body so can carry a bigger rider (rider in the show picture on the flat is 5'7"), turned 7 in April 2012, moves and looks like a warmblood. Will win the hack all day long, great jump, lots of scope, flying lead changes are almost 100% but Mia knows how to land all her leads easily as shown in the video. Mia has been in training since we bought her as a project horse in May 2010. She did a couple of shows as well that year but 2012 will be her second full year of showing in the middle Tennessee schooling circuit, has gotten many blue ribbons, reserve champion and champion in the past. She will start showing in the rated circuit as well this year and her price will continue to rise with her experience. She is eligible green everything. She is a great opportunity for someone looking to bring a horse up the ranks and add lots of value, she fits perfectly with today's trend of warmblood type ponies that can get the stride while going slow. She is available for trial at our barn and will be allowed to go out on a week long trial to your facility if you like her. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. UPDATE: Mia's 3rd year of showing started wonderfully, on 5/19/12 she was shown by two young riders at the Hunters Court horse show in the green rider and long stirrup divisions, she did great and actually won the hack in both divisions, beating some stiff competition!
