2011 Hanoverian colt by Royal Prince and out of EM Panache EMF. He was named Top Colt at the 2011 AHS Inspection at Hilltop Farm.
UPDATE SUMMER/FALL 2012 - Royal Reflection participated in the prestigious Dressage at Devon, where he was 3rd in the Yearling Colt class and 7th in the Regional Finals for USDFBC (against older horses), with both scores above a 77%. At Dressage at Stone Tavern, this colt won his Yearling colt class and was 3rd in the Colt Championships, which qualified him for the Regional Finals for USDFBC at Dressage at Devon. He consistently receives 8s on his walk and conformation. In the AHS Young Horse Futurity at Hilltop Farm, judged by Werner Schade (Breeding Director of the German Hanoverian Verband), this colt was champion of the yearlings and his score was 75%. For the year end Futurity rankings, this colt was ranked 4th of all Yearling Colts that competed in all the AHS Futurities across the country. For HOY USDF Yearling colts, he was ranked 6th place for all yearling colts competing in the US.
He is very closely related to the 2011 Grand Champion of Dressage at Devon, as EM Rheporter (Royal Prince - EM Whispre) is the half sister of this colt's grand dam (EM Ghlycerine out of EM Whispre) and this colt is by EM Rheporter's sire Royal Prince. His dam EM Panache EMF comes from a damline with 5 straight SPS/EM in succession and EM Panache competed successfully at Training and First Level (scores mid-60s to 70s) as a 4 year old, qualify for USDF Regionals and doing well at the Regional Championship shows, with a 1st and 2nd place in First Level 2 and 3 and a 3rd in the Majestic Farm Training Level Championships. During her 4 year old year, she also was named High Score Training Level. When she successfully completed her Hanoverian Mare Performance Test, she was the highest scoring 3 year old of the group, placing 4th out of 14 and just behind 4 and 5 year old mares. At her German Oldenburg Verband inspection, she was named a Non-Oldenburg Mare of Distinction, with a score of 7.5. To date, she has produced a Top Colt (Royal Reflection) at the AHS inspection and a Premium and Foal of Distinction at a German Oldenburg Verband Inspection (2012 filly). Royal Prince has successfully competed at PSG and his offspring have also done very well in sport horse breeding, with Royal Prince being named the Sporthorse Breeding Stallion of the Year several times in a row by USDF. www.hilltopfarminc.com
Royal Reflection has a very easy going and amenable temperament to work with. He is very willing to trust humans and try whatever you ask, and he is bold and not fazed by much at all. This colt was also a perfect gentleman and was very calm and relaxed at each and every show grounds. This, combined with the performance pedigree, should make him a wonderful riding horse.
