This is "Connie" the day before the first two videos, cantering on the lunge line...for the first time. Yes, we took her off the lunge line in one day--because she was just so quiet and cooperative (but, yes, somewhat expressive with her ears!).

Connie is a super-sweet, super-smart, very cooperative filly who lives life with gusto. She has a lovely, huntery trot and canter, but looks at the world through the eyes of a contented tiger. Originally backed by a saddleseat/western rider, her mouth is 100% unspoiled, as is her brain, because I insisted that she be ridden with no contact (since the rider's contact was not what I wanted for the filly). Connie was worked for 6 weeks after she was backed, then given 2 months off. Now she is starting cavaletti and gridwork jumping under a young man with a solid background in both dressage and hunters. Connie has all of the traits to be either a top dollar pony hunter or a "lifer" for a woman looking for a fancy mount that she can love, look great on, and do absolutely anything on, plus breed for investment babies, too.
