Galileo is a very handsome, tall fellow registered Dutch. He is very friendly and loves to smooch. Leo is athletic with lovely fluid movement for either the hunter or dressage ring, Both his full brothers by Autocrat have been sold to the U.S. for the hunter ring. Estimate of mature height is 16.2 to 16.3 hh.

Galileo’s dam, Valentina is a registered Dutch mare by the imported Dutch stallion, Dublin and out of a super producing Thoroughbred mare, Island Song, who continues to pass on excellent legs and very good movement through her daughters. Dublin was winner of the 1988 Dutch stallion Performance test in Ermelo, Holland. He carries the versatile blood of Ulft (sire of Olympic Ferro) and Lucky Boy ( sire of many International jumpers). Lucky Boy is also found in the pedigree of many of North America’s top hunters. Dublin sired 2 approved Dutch stallions including Iron Spring Farms’ dressage sensation, Juventus. He left behind in Holland, national Dutch champions, many ster mares, as well as many competition horses in both dressage and jumping.

Galileo's sire, the approved Hanoverian stallion, Autocrat, was imported from the Celle State Stud, Germany. His oldest offspring turned 5 yrs old in 2010. He sired the 2010 USDF Horse of the Year Materiale 4 or 5 yr old mare, 2 Toronto Royal Governor General's Cup Reserve Champions (2008 & 2010), 2010 Toronto Royal 5th place horse in the Lieutenant Governor's Cup, Elite Hanoverian Mares, Hunter Champions, Hack Champions & Provincial Dressage Champions.
