Vortex has a balanced, athletic conformation and 3 very attractive gaits with lots of carrying power and a natural collection. He is willing to work and very friendly. He leads, loads in a stock trailer, stands for farrier work and clippers. His sire, Iroko, was recently awarded the Keur title with the KWPN and is ranked at the top of the Dutch index for producing jumpers. Iroko is one of only two living Keur stallions in the U.S. Vortex's dam is by Argus, who competed successfully at both Grand Prix jumping and Grand Prix dressage. This gelding has a lot of potential as a sport horse and has an easy temperament. He is 15.3 hands at 3 years of age. He probably will mature slightly under 16 hands - a good size for someone looking for the "smaller" warmblood. He is an uncomplicated, happy horse and is green-broke and ready to begin serious training. He is quiet and has a temperament suitable for an amateur rider. |
