Bred for Dressage with some of the best Trakehner bloodlines! Beautiful 2006 filly by the wonderful stallion Feuertanzer by Martini/Cocktail. Feuertanzer is consistant in producing very nice riding horses with correct conformation and great movement with great temperaments. Martini is still considered one of the World's best Dressage producing sires. Francesca is out of Pyrha by Donaufurst/Mahagoni. Pyrha was Grand Champion Yearling Filly at the ATA Mare Show in Columbus, OH, and then was trained through fourth level in Dressage before beginning her career as a broodmare. Pyrha is out of Pontresina by Sokrates/Patron. Her sire Donaufurst is a well known Grand Prix Dressage Horse and produces foals of the highest quality with outstanding conformation, movement and temperaments. Donaufurst's sire, Mahagoni is one of the World's leading Dressage sires, and the sire of Peron, Michelle Gibson's mount in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta where they received median scores of over 70%. Francesca's pedigree reads like a who's who of the Trakehner bloodlines. Francesca's half sister "Libbie M" by Feuertanzer (w/simalar mare line), was ATA 2004 Reserve Champion Yearling Filly, 2006 ATA Horse of the Year and Reserve Champion 3 Year Old Filly and was awarded the "Model Mare" status with a score of 56. A distinction awarded to only approximately 3% of mares on the basis of their above average qualities of type, conformation and movement. Francesca has a great future ahead of her with FEI potential or she could be a very fancy and successful Show Hunter or a great addition to your Breeding program. Very sweet and smart, she stands extremely well for the farrier and for grooming and is very easy to handle.
