Lovely 1996 TB mare in foal for May 2009 to USEF leading dressage sire Contucci. My Martina is an Alydar granddaughter with Native Dancer/Princequillo breeding. Well balanced, pretty mare with very good ground manners, easy to work with. Conceives on first cycle, even with frozen semen. Martina’s first foal, Royal Alyance by Royal Appearance, is exceptional (see horse ad # 18420.) Mare and foal will be presented in September at the ISR/Oldenburg NA inspection Blacksburg, VA site; price will be re-evaluated after inspection. Contucci weanlings typically sell for $7500-$15,000 so this mare and foal package is a bargain! 9/20 update: Martina was approved in the Oldenburg NA main mare book with a score of 100 pts! She was one of the top scoring mares of the day. Her first foal, by Royal Appearance, went premium with a score of 8.1. Martina's price has been increased to $7500 to reflect this accomplishment; still a bargain for a proven premium foal producer in foal to Contucci! |
