Andre as we affectionately call him, is a young horse destined to be a superstar in the Eventing and/or Jumper worlds. His Sire “Salute the Truth” had made his mark by being America’s only Thoroughbred Eventing stallion to have proven himself at the advanced levels. You can read more about him at www.dodonfarm.com
Andre’s dam “Grande Amie” is a ISR Selle Francais by Obscur II who competed Internationally including the Pan Am Games. Also note worthy on the dam’s side is the 1976 Selle Francais stallion “Bonjour” aka Kirkes who won the German young horse championships and was used as an improvement sire for the Hannoverian, Oldenburg, Rhinelander and Hessian breeds.
My daughter is moving to NC and he needs a job. He is priced below value for a quick sale, but this in no way is a reflection of his quality. He has been jumped and has fabulous form and confidence. He loves to be out on the trail and is very brave and bold. He stands 17.1 Hands and a very large 17.1 @ that. Although my daughter rides him, alot of people are uncomfortable with his size, so be sure you need a large horse before responding to this add. He would be a great mount for a man. His confirmation is very correct and he oozes athelete. He settles into new environments with ease, loads nicely and handles work like a champ. No health or soundness issues.
