Beautiful colt by Sempatico out Seville, a TrakehnerX by Pregelstrand. Dam was used as as a dressage horse (through 3rd level) and school horse before retiring to become a broodmare. "Monte" has what it takes to be a fantastic dressage or event horse - he has three lovely gaits and a great temperament to boot. He is the friendliest colt I have ever known - stood quietly for the farrier at 2 months old! Born 3/30/05 - This colt is substantial and I expect him to mature around 16 H (Dam is 15.2 H sire is 16.1 H). Monte earned Gold Premium at his RPSI inspection with a score of 8.1! Otto was very impressed with his neck, shoulder and muscling and his nice uphill trot and canter! |
